2nd Orientation and Matching Day

The programme was primarly devoted to Digital libraries: Scientific/Scholarly Content, but many of the participants used the opportunity to discuss the topic Geographic Information. Moderated by the Hungarian Association of Content Industry (MATISZ) all aspects were highlighted. The Czech and Hungarian National GI Associations (CAGI and HUNAGI) were represented on President and SG level, while the high profile participation of EFITA with President Karel Chravat, PROGIS with CEO Walter Mayer, FÖMI with Deputy DG Peter Winkler was a clear indication of the interest of NGOs, Private and Public Sector in the Spatial Data Community.
